Dear Kids, Dear Parents

Welcome on our page. Please let us introduce ourself:

What is Cevi?

We are part of the worldwide YMCA and YWCA movement and the European YMCA scouting & Jungschar group. Our groups meet once a week (usually a Saturday afternoon) to follow different outdoor activities. We learn to read maps, prepare food over a fire, do handicrafts, set up tents, play music and experience outdoor adventure. Everybody from the age of 5 to 25 can join us no matter their religion or nationality.

What do we do?

Fröschli (for Kindergarten kids)
This group meets about every three weeks from 14.30 to 16.30. Their activities are age appropriate and normally take place outdoors except during bad weather the kids will be indoors. The kids will enjoy an exciting story, get to know new games and songs, do handicrafts or build their own hut.

Cevi (for School kids)
The school kids are divided in three age-appropriate groups. They are supervised by well-trained leaders. Each group (Stufe) is meeting every Saturday afternoon to experience an outdoor adventure. Together the kids learn to read maps, make a campfire, do handicrafts, set up tents and a lot more. Our goal is to combine fun and meaningful content. Every year over Pentecost we have a camp. We sleep in tents and live three days in nature.

What is our goal?

Our goal is to give the children and teens the possibility to experience shared moments and community, to encourage the use of their talents and empower young people. We want to give the kids a place to realize their ideas and to enjoy nature. We are convinced that good youth work is a promising investment in the future of our children.

How can i get in touch?
